Having stumbled across house music as pot washer at the at The Old Kent Roads' legendary Frog and Nightgown in the mid nineties, Baxter J Large / Aka Skwonk Squad first made his mark on the world when he established Pengeís first anal bleaching salon in the run up to the Millennium. Despite a promising start, the 'Ivory Starfish' chain he established eventually fell victim to EU Health and Safety strictures, and so it is he returns to his first love, house music, with renewed determination and a gleaming posterior.
Playa comes in two mixes, both featuring South London face Taz on vocal duties. Dopefish continues his sonic assault mission with a floor shredding avant fidget -rave up, keeping much of Tazís rap intact. Shady Eastern European cat Uktu S goes for an all out electro wonk out, chopping the vox to bits but keeping energy levels on a Spinal Tap style "11".
